Medical and Public Health Internship Abroad in Africa
Project Placement: Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, LEKMA Hospital & Community Health Outreach
Duration: 2 weeks minimum (May – August 2025)

Overview
Pro-Passion Projects offers an immersive Medical and Public Health Internship in Ghana for students and graduates interested in global health. Interns gain hands-on experience by working at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, LEKMA Hospital, and participating in community health outreach programs led by our medical coordinator. This program is ideal for pre-med, medical, nursing, and public health students seeking international healthcare exposure.

Role and Responsibilities
Shadow doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals in Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and LEKMA Hospital.
Assist with basic medical tasks under supervision.
Participate in public health outreach programs, including maternal health education, disease prevention, and sanitation initiatives.
Work on community health projects focused on malaria prevention, nutrition, reproductive health, and water sanitation.
Gain exposure to tropical medicine and healthcare challenges in underserved areas.
