Pro-Passion Projects – Law & Human Rights Internship
Our Law & Human Rights Internship provides interns with hands-on legal experience while contributing to access to justice and human rights advocacy in Ghana. Interns work Monday to Friday, six hours a day, alongside legal professionals at the Legal Aid Commission, the Mediation Center in Nima-Accra, and the Center for Democratic Development (CDD).
Intern Responsibilities:
At the Legal Aid Commission, interns:
Assist lawyers in providing free legal services to low-income individuals.
Conduct legal research, case documentation, and draft court documents.
Observe and participate in client consultations and case reviews.
Attend court proceedings and help with case preparations.
At the Mediation Center in Nima, interns:
Support mediators in resolving family, business, and community disputes.
Observe and assist in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) sessions.
Engage in conflict resolution strategies and client counseling.
At CDD, interns contribute to:
Human rights advocacy, policy research, and legal education programs.
Projects focused on democracy, governance, and social justice.
Cost & Inclusions
€950 for two weeks
€100 for each additional week
